Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to read technical documents, and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, composite materials, or other building materials.
Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, and cabinetry.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success.
Replace or repair damaged or defective structural components.
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentice carpenters when needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
