Customer Service Team Leader – Cheltenham
Up to £30,000 DOE | Full-Time | Permanent
Cheltenham
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm + 1 Saturday per month

We’re recruiting for a Customer Service Team Leader to join a busy and growing business based in Cheltenham. You’ll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day customer interactions across phone, email, and webchat, while coaching and supporting your team to consistently deliver excellent service.
What You’ll Be Doing:-
Leading and supporting a small customer service team in daily operations

Acting as a point of escalation for more complex queries and customer complaints

Monitoring response times and ensuring service standards are met
-
Providing hands-on support via phone, email, and chat as needed

Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve order and stock queries

Training and mentoring team members, identifying development opportunities
-
Overseeing payment processes and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout

Assisting with recruitment, rotas, and team planning where required
What We’re Looking For:-
Previous experience in customer service, ideally with some team leadership or supervisory responsibilities

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Ability to motivate, support, and coach a team to perform at their best

Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to handle escalated issues

Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
-
Retail or e-commerce background is desirable but not essential
