Summary

We are looking for a Fostering Social Worker to join a Fostering Connected Carers Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 year post qualified experience.

About the team:

The Fostering Connected Carers Team plays a crucial role in supporting and assessing connected carers, who are typically relatives or friends of children needing care. Your role ensure that children can stay within their extended family or social network, providing a stable and familiar environment. The Council works in a systematic way to ensure all foster carers are equipped, promoting empowerment.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3-year post qualification in permanent employment is essential to be considered for this role. Experience within a fostering team (ideally in a connected carers) is beneficial.

It is essential to have a UK Driver's License.
