Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused and engaging tuition in GCSE Maths, tailored to individual learning needs and curriculum goals.
- Identify areas of difficulty and develop personalised lesson plans to address learning gaps.
- Prepare students for exams with confidence- building strategies and revision support.
- Adapt your teaching style to suit a range of learners, including those with mild SEN needs.
- Track student progress and communicate effectively with parents/carers or the wider educational team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths at GCSE level.
- Proven ability to break down complex topics in a way that is clear, practical, and engaging.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must have, or be wiling to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
Desired:
- PGCE in Secondary Maths and/or QTS.
- Experience supporting learners with SEN.
