Summary
A Live-in Housekeeper is needed by this fantastic family based in Chelsea, London to help them in maintaining their home and ensuring that it is neat and clean. An ideal candidate will be someone organised and hardworking who takes initiative with all general housekeeping tasks. A key responsibility includes cooking for the family and preparing healthy meals for the week, with a strong preference for candidates knowledgeable in European cuisine. They have two small dogs and it would be really helpful if the housekeeper can take him for a walk from time to time and feed when required. Someone who speaks Tagalog, Indonesian, Nepalese, or Hindi would be a bonus but English-speaking candidates will also be considered.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm then 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, approximately 40 hours per week
Accommodation: Own bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette
Duties include:
Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
Maintaining and cleaning the kitchen area
Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
Making beds and replacing linens as needed
Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
Cooking healthy meals for the family, with a focus on mostly healthy European cuisine
Walking the family’s two small dogs
They are looking for someone who can start by the end of April or mid-May 2025 and are happy to meet lovely candidates.
