We are looking to recruit a Driver Trainer who is passionate about supporting the delivery of policing services to the diverse communities we serve.



As a Driver Trainer you will provide theoretical and practical driver training to drivers of all levels across Cleveland Police. We are seeking candidates who are committed to enabling the organisation to achieve its goals and individuals to fulfil their potential.



Applicants who do not hold a training qualification, but are willing to undertake and achieve the Police Sector Standards for the Training of Trainers, Training Essentials Programme (TEP) once within post, are encouraged to apply. You must be knowledgeable in the subject matter of the training you deliver, whilst understanding and applying best practice.



We are seeking candidates who are skilled in a range of teaching and presentation techniques, can develop strong relationships and demonstrate effective stakeholder managements, and are adept at using questioning, listening and non-verbal communication techniques to give, elicit and receive feedback and to overcome communication barriers.



The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training as per the College of Policing Driver Training Package.
