Summary

FM Conway is recruiting for a Streetworks Officer to join our successful Term Maintenance team. As our Streetworks Officer, you will liaise with internal supervisors on programmed works and submit permit applications for these schemes, routine maintenance works, and emergency works to the local Councils. This is a permanent, full time role based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent.

The duties of the Streetworks Officer role will include:

-Submitting permit applications of schemes, routine maintenance works and emergency works

-Ensuring full compliance with the requirements of the Traffic Management Act

-Maintaining and administering electronic transfer of notices such as work comments on permits, respond to variations and submit modification requests to the Council

-Liaising with the Highway Authority Streetworks and Network Management teams ensuring that the programme dates and notification periods are adhered to

-Liaising with the internal Supervisors on all programmed routine maintenance works

-Ensuring compliance with TMA requirements and KPI’s

What skills and experience do you need?

We are looking for a candidate with strong customer service and Microsoft Office skills. You will be an individual thinker, have experience working under pressure and have excellent organisational skills. Experience within a permitting role in the highways or construction industry would be beneficial.
