Summary

I'm currently recruiting for a Product Owner for our client in Edinburgh. This role is a hybrid role of at least 1 day per week in the office.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Create a clear and strategic product roadmap aligned with key business objectives, including revenue growth, market expansion, and brand recognition.
  • Lead the agile development cycle with a cross-functional team, ensuring timely delivery of features.
  • Gather and evaluate input from stakeholders, placing user and business needs at the core of the product strategy.
  • Manage and refine the product backlog to maximise value and efficiency.
  • Foster strong partnerships with university colleagues, customers, internal teams, and external collaborators.
  • Prepare business cases, reports, and promotional content, while also representing the organisation at events and outreach activities.
  • Use analytics to guide product decisions and anticipate potential risks during service delivery.
  • Design and execute strategies to minimise impact on the product and wider business goals.
  • Assist in the planning and management of digital product lifecycles to ensure smooth operation and sustained user engagement.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in digital product ownership or service management
  • Strong background in managing online/web-based services and tech stacks
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and with senior teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement
