We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in their homes or care homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while fostering a supportive environment for those in need.
Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in activities of daily living.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
Follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
