Location: Llwyndyrys, near Pwllheli, Gwynedd

Hours: two roles available 16 hours per week this includes both mornings wake up shifts and evening bedtime shifts and weekends. There is a possiblity of 2 sleep ins a week

Salary: £12.74 per hour, additional £60 per night for sleep in shifts

Contract: Permanent

What you’ll be doing:

In this role you’ll be involved with both homecare supporting 1 male in his own home and our Clwb Cartrefi sessional support service locally.

In homecare you’ll be providing person centred care which includes meal preparation, personal care daily, supporting and communicating with the family and manual handling.

Your goal is to make ‘everyday remarkable’ through enhancing well-being and focusing on the small, meaningful moments that bring joy and purpose. By offering this kind of person-centred support every day, this is truly a rewarding and fun role for the right person.

The person you’ll be supporting is Welsh speaking so ideally, you’ll speak Welsh already or be learning. Due to the remote location of this role, it is essential you are a driver with access to your own transport.

No experience is required as full is training provided. We’d love to hear from you if you:

have patience and empathy
can support a person with their intimate personal care with respect and dignity
have strong communication and teamwork skills
are a driver with access to your own transport
are able to speak on behalf of others as well as to a range of professional people
have good written skills and the ability to record events with empathy and meaning.
