Summary


We are looking for an experienced, caring and self-motivated clinician to support the work of the Community Paediatric team based at Breightmet Health Centre.
The successful applicant will have excellent clinical skills in a wide range of paediatric disciplines including skills working with looked after children. They will need to demonstrate attention to detail, have excellent communication skills, be well organised, flexible and self-directive with a positive ‘can do’/problem solving attitude. They must be able to work confidently within a multi-disciplinary and multiagency team and be able to work to timescales and deadlines when needed.

Clinical

The main areas of clinical work are:-
1. General community paediatrics including care of children with neurodisabilities in locality based clinics. We aim to provide care as close to home as possible
2. Responsibility for the health of children attending a local authority special school (secondary school), providing a clinic in the school
3. Clinics for initial health assessments and adoption medicals
