Summary
Our client is a reputable and long-established company based in Reading. They specialise in Land Surveying projects. Our client is based in Reading (ability to arrange own travel to and from the office is essential) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in our projects, ensuring precise measurements and data collection to support our client's construction and development efforts. You will be covering the south of the UK and must hold a full driver’s licence.
Key Responsibilities
• Land Surveying: Conduct land surveys using precision surveying equipment and
technology to establish accurate surveys of topographic features and construction
reference points.
• Data Collection: Accurately collect and record field data, measurements, and
survey results. Ensure data integrity and organisation.
• Data Processing: Create detailed survey drawings and reports using AutoCAD or
other relevant software, illustrating recorded details.
• Support: Collaborate with clients and the office to provide survey support.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on survey data to ensure accuracy and
compliance.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure
optimal performance and accuracy.
Qualifications:
• Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
Experience:
• 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful
projects.
• Proficiency with land surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and standards.
Additional Requirements:
• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexible with shift patterns, including night work.
