This role is hybrid working – up to 3 days per week onsite
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Assets and Inventory Finance Manager. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the financial accuracy and integrity of both system and off-system inventory, as well as the effective management of fixed assets. The successful candidate will lead on financial oversight, analysis, and reporting for inventory and asset management, providing essential support to ensure operational effectiveness, compliance, and financial transparency. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for process improvement within inventory and asset finance.
Key accountabilities:
Maintain accurate on-system inventory data including stock holdings, classifications (RMC/CS), and values
Manage off-system inventory and Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE), including investigation of GFE postings at month-end
Support quarterly GFE verification exercises in collaboration with the Supply Chain Team
Oversee budgets and financial postings for inventory including PCR bids, forecasts, and TM1 month-end activities
Maintain accuracy of the Non-Current Asset Register and provide advice on proper asset management
Conduct regular inventory analysis to support reporting and decision-making
Work closely with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, support audits, and drive continuous improvement in inventory and asset processes
Key requirements:
Experience in finance and inventory analysis
Strong analytical skills to investigate and resolve transactional issues
Effective stakeholder communication across departments
Confident in identifying and challenging anomalies
Proficient in MS Excel
CIMA qualification (desirable)
