Summary

This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in structural works and a hands-on approach to concrete construction and temporary works.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute and oversee on-site structural works including:

  • Formwork installation
  • Reinforcement placement and detailing
  • Concrete pours and post-placement activities

Apply and manage Temporary Works Procedures, including:

  • Review and revisions of Temporary Works designs
  • Management of Permit to Load and Permit to Strike
  • Undertake accurate Setting Out and Surveying activities
  • Ensure the correct implementation of Rebar stability and reinforcement detailing
  • Utilise and interpret monitoring data from systems such as Maturix for concrete maturity and curing

Support the planning and execution of:

  • Temporary Works Solutions
  • Lifting Plans and Lifting Operations
  • Site Logistics Planning
  • Review and contribute to construction methodologies for efficient and safe delivery
  • Perform design reviews and checks including Bar Bending Schedules and reinforcement layouts
  • Lead and maintain short-term planning with 6-Week Lookahead Schedules

  • Health & Safety
  • Environmental stewardship
  • Ecological considerations
