Summary
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join the team at Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health, Nuffield Department of Medicine. You will work collaboratively with the Health Systems Collaborative at University of Oxford and the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) in Kenya.
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will bring theoretical and practical expertise in topics such as empirical ethics, governance, power-relations in health and research systems and organisational and team functioning. You will be responsible for managing your own academic research and administrative activites which involves small scale project management. You will develop and lead a literature review on AMR ethics and governance including proposal development, extraction of data and report writing. This role also includes in collaboration and preparation of research publications, presenting findings and acting as source of information and advice to other members of the group.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you hold a PhD/DPhil (or close to completion) in health-related topics such as health system governance, resilience/responsiveness, organisational management, human behaviour, or empirical ethics together with relevant experience. You will provide evidence of fully developed skills in document review, scoping reviews or systematic reviews. You will be able to manage your own academic research, produce and publish high quality research and have excellent communication skills. Experience of contributions to post-graduate teaching/education is seen as highly desirable.
