Nursery Chef Wanted – Join Our Caring Team!
Location: SW14
Position: Head Nursery Chef
Salary: £29,000-£30,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:45am till 5:15pm (one hour unpaid lunch break) 37.5 Hours a week
Holidays: 28days (incl Public holidays) + birthday off + up to 3 days paid leave at Christmas
Do you take pride in creating a clean, safe kitchen environment? We’re looking for a dedicated Nursery Chef to join our warm and welcoming team!
What You’ll Do:
Prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0–5
Follow dietary requirements and allergy plans carefully
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene (in line with food safety regulations)
Plan weekly menus that are healthy, varied, and child-friendly
Work closely with the nursery team to support the overall wellbeing of the children
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a similar role ideally within a nursery setting or working in a kitchen/catering setting
A Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to obtain)
Good understanding of nutrition for young children
Reliable, organised, and friendly personality
A genuine love for working in a childcare environment
