Summary
Newstaff Employment Services are looking for down-to-earth go-getters, who are ready to make their mark on the automotive industry as a Parts Advisor based in Kingsnorth, Rochester.
**Immediate Start**
This is an ideal role for a candidate with previous experience of working as a stock controller or parts administrator.
Your key responsibilities will be:
• Control Workshop Stock- booking goods into the system, cross-referring vehicle parts, liaise with the stock team to order required parts, completing stock checks both physical stock holding and system balances.
• Administrative support- answer all email and telephone queries, complete weekly reports and all relevant paperwork, assist in the provision of quality administrative support to the workshop
• Maintain all systems ensuring that adequate and appropriate records are created and maintained
• Ensuring that work is carried out efficiently to ensure deadlines are met
• Other ad-hoc duties
Skills and expertise
Experience in a similar role
• Previous experience within the automotive sector (desirable)
• Computer literate with experience in using Excel
• Strong communicative skills – speaking, reading and writing (essential)
• Excellent numerical and literacy skills
• You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
• Excellent attention to detail
Other information:
• £12.50 per hour paid weekly
• Monday to Friday (with some flexibility during busy times)
• 7am-5pm
• Temp – Perm
