Summary

The People Analytics and Insights Team are responsible for maintaining, reporting, and analysing the data of 5,000+ staff across the globe. As the Senior People Data Account Manager, you will lead on a portfolio of director-led business areas, improving capability in maintaining employee data on HR and position management systems.

Your role will be critical to ensuring DBT has excellent quality workforce information to support with budget management, forecasting, spending review, workforce planning and data-driven decision making.

You will lead on data and HR related projects in DBT and across HM Government. A key opportunity to shape the way we manage, maintain and use data to support HR and corporate functions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service experience, strong IT (Information Technology) skills, including good ability in Excel. They will also need to be a good team player and communicator with strong numerical and problem-solving skills. This is a challenging and rewarding role that would suite someone looking to develop their skills in HR and data.


Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Work directly with senior leadership teams, business managers, HR, and finance business partners across DBT to validate the accuracy of data held within the HR systems and help them to correct errors via self-service, support the raising of Service Requests or co-ordinate bulk changes as appropriate.
  • Support the day-to-day management of monthly reporting in business areas, workforce planning meetings and implementation of change to HR systems.
  • Produce and analyse large sets of organisational employee data to identify issues and trends within DBT.
  • Help senior leaders understand their teams through visualising their employee data. For example, producing regular organisational structure charts.
  • Deliver training to improve the capability of line managers and individuals in using HR system self-service and keeping their people data accurate.
  • Making recommendations to the HR Information Systems Manager on projects, processes and guidance enhancements.
  • Work with HR Business Partners to drive engagement and leadership in corporate compliance from our senior stakeholders.
