Summary
The wider Debt Programme and Projects are being delivered by multi-functional teams, in varying stages of development phases and are often complex and providing DWP with Transformational objectives.
As part of the role, you will be playing a key part in the Digital Debt Management programme. Defining testing strategy, implementing automation and best practices across both current and future debt solutions.
As a Senior Technical Lead, you will provide overall leadership for multiple Engineering teams across both Digital Debt Programmes, legacy and future. You will have deep knowledge and experience of engineering principles, tools and delivery methodologies, and work with other key stakeholders.
You will lead delivery of the architectural model in conjunction with the Lead Architect and Test Engineering Lead to ensure we have the right and consistent development strategy across the future debt service. This will involve co-ordinating several teams working on different deliverables and providing strategic engineering decisions for delivering Digital Debt services.
You will provide overall leadership and support to multiple multi-disciplinary Engineering teams across Debt Projects and services working together with key stakeholders and technical decision makers to define strategic vision for digital products and services.
You will be responsible for identifying engineering risks and develop plans for mitigation and contingency ensuring that usability, accessibility, security, stability and capacity are embedded in the development of services.
You will be responsible for promoting engagement with continuous integration, delivery and deployment practices following DWP Engineering standards and tooling and lead on communications to ensure consistent Engineering messaging across the function shaping what is our best practise inside of organisation constraints.
