Summary
The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of excellent clinical care for patients by having the right equipment and products available at the right place at the right time. The post holder will be required to assist in the preparation of essential products and equipment for delivery; checking they are correctly picked, packed and ready for distribution in a timely and effective manner. Move stock around the warehouse to ensure maximum efficiency and to ensure stock is rotated to prevent waste. Use plant machinery if qualified to do so such as a reach truck and/or fork lift. They will aid in the maintenance of an accurate stock control system within the warehouse, ensuring that products and equipment are labelled and stored in the correct place. They will support by undertaking an accurate stock level by recording movements in and out of the warehouse. The post holder will be required to complete deliveries to LAS premises on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis and use technology to scan in items for end to end stock tracking and management.
