Summary
Consultant would be able to attend LRI academic meeting on the 2nd and 4th Thursday am; and also the 3rd Thursday pmto join the Royal Society of Medicine or engage in local training opportunities. This is a provisional timetable; there will be opportunity to change sites and provide specialist clinics. In addition as the collaborative working develops there will be a link with GPwSI across the county and help develop the countywide service. Duties and Responsibilities Provision and administration of the dermatology service with responsibility for diagnosis, treatment and after care. Audit Projects are undertaken within the department which also participates in monthly regional dermatology meetings which are an essential part of the dermatologists commitment to continuing medical education. These sessions include an audit element and joint consultation clinics. The dermatologists are also welcome at the Kettering Friday afternoon medical directorate academic half day which also includes audit content. The Trust actively supports applications for appropriate study leave.
