Summary
Delivering a safe and efficient prescription service to patients and external agencies Printing of prescriptions on paper, online and via EPS (Electronic Prescription Service Responding to queries from patients, GPs, carers, pharmacies, and other healthcare professionals. Checking emails regularly and processing them regularly Regularly monitoring a phone list specific to medication requests and queries Liaising with local pharmacies and the Litchdon 'Pharmacy Team' on the supply and availability of prescribed medications, and alerting clinicians to any supply issues and sharing information relating to recommended alternatives Establishing and maintaining filing and administrative systems so that written or computerised information is easily accessible and secure Ensuring that patient records are accurate, kept up to date, and that patient information is secure and confidential at all times Meeting targets set by performance appraisal at annual review Compliance with practice Health and safety requirements Attending departmental meetings Other duties as required by the line manager For more information please see the full job description attached.
