- To have experience of teaching French

- To be a reflective and outstanding teaching practitioner

- To have teaching experience in a culturally diverse school

- To have experience of meeting the needs of a wide range of students

- To know the requirements of the Primary National Curriculum

- Ability to adapt learning plans for the specific needs of children with additional needs

- To be able to plan, teach and assess in order to promote good pupil progress, appropriate to different students’ needs

- To have the ability to establish a positive learning environment, where pupils thrive and behave well

- To be punctual, reliable, and well organised

-To have excellent communication and literacy skills (both oral and in writing) – the ability to make points clearly and confidently, providinginformation and advice in accurate written and spoken English, andable to understand the views of others

- To have a commitment to continuous professional development for yourself and others

- You have an awareness of and a commitment to equalopportunities
