About the Role

As the Project Planner/Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of projects for this company. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining accurate, coherent project schedules in line with planning principles
  • Validating project-level assessments and identifying risks and issues for discussion with the project team
  • Supporting the generation and maintenance of the Integrated Baseline schedule to ensure successful programme delivery
  • Validating project-level costs and forecasts to support the Estimate at Completion (EAC)
  • Contributing to the generation of Schedule Risk Analysis across projects where appropriate
  • Actively participating in Bid Team activities to ensure project schedule and control are properly considered

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this Project Planner/Controller role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in project planning, from detailed planning to summary-level milestone delivery
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining project structures (WBS/CBS/OBS)
  • Ability to generate and analyse project performance data (schedule, resource, and cost)
  • Strong critical path analysis skills
  • Experience with project management tools such as Primavera, SAP, or ARM
  • Knowledge of Baseline Management and Change Control
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-functional team
  • Proven track record of prioritising workload and managing conflicting demands
