About the Role
As the Project Planner/Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of projects for this company. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining accurate, coherent project schedules in line with planning principles
- Validating project-level assessments and identifying risks and issues for discussion with the project team
- Supporting the generation and maintenance of the Integrated Baseline schedule to ensure successful programme delivery
- Validating project-level costs and forecasts to support the Estimate at Completion (EAC)
- Contributing to the generation of Schedule Risk Analysis across projects where appropriate
- Actively participating in Bid Team activities to ensure project schedule and control are properly considered
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this Project Planner/Controller role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in project planning, from detailed planning to summary-level milestone delivery
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining project structures (WBS/CBS/OBS)
- Ability to generate and analyse project performance data (schedule, resource, and cost)
- Strong critical path analysis skills
- Experience with project management tools such as Primavera, SAP, or ARM
- Knowledge of Baseline Management and Change Control
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-functional team
- Proven track record of prioritising workload and managing conflicting demands
