Crynodeb
You will be working in specialist paediatric, ocular motility, nystagmus and neuro-ophthalmology clinics, and providing orthoptic input to botulinum clinics for strabismus and adjustable suture procedures. There is also be the opportunity to train to deliver intra-vitreal injections for patients with age-related macular degeneration. Audit and continuing professional development are encouraged in the department, and we have regular teaching sessions. We are a placement centre for orthoptic undergraduate students, and depending on your experience, you would be a clinical tutor.
