Job Purpose: Carrying out repairs and maintenance to Council owned fleet of HGV vehicles, plant and equipment.

Requirements
Time Served HGV Motor Vehicle Mechanic
Experience in the repair and maintenance of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), Large Good Vehicles (LGV) and construction plant.
Holds proof of recognised trade training and be time-served in the repair and maintenance of HGV motor vehicles.
Qualified to City and Guilds Part 1 and 2 or Scotvec National Certificate (or similar) in vehicle maintenance and repair.
