Summary

Are you an experienced time served Heating Fitter/Plumber looking for a new opportunity? Do you have the ability to work individually or within a team with minimal supervision? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our building services team where you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and servicing of Public Buildings within the County Borough.

The Main Duties of the post:

- To carry out Building Maintenance works to Council Buildings; Schools; Civic
Buildings; Office Buildings; Celtic Leisure Facilities.
- Working as part of a team or independently.
- Responsible for all aspects of one’s Primary Trade of Plumbing/Heating Fitter &
any other trade works within one’s own knowledge, skillset & understanding as &
when required.
- You will be required to carry out Heating Fitter/Plumber work as instructed by the
Mechanical Supervisors/Engineer (including Gas related pipework).

You will have experience:
- Working within the Building Construction Industry.
- Understanding of the work and customer expectations with respect to Building
Services.
- Previous maintenance experience.
- An experienced time served Plumber/Heating Fitter is required to work within a
busy Building Services team involving installation, maintenance, and servicing of
Public Buildings within the County Borough.

The post requires the successful applicant to be a fully qualified Heating Fitter/Plumber. (e.g. City and Guilds or NVQ level 3).
