The Opportunity:

Following the recent award of the Engineering Biology Mission Hub, we are seeking two postdoctoral scientists to lead research projects focussed on development of novel cancer gene therapies. You will be based in the laboratory of Prof Steve Pollard. The Mission Hub focusses on development of novel genetic control switches. This project will focus on innovative approaches to discover and develop anti-tumour payloads for use in novel AAV gene therapy strategies for cancer. The project would suit those with a strong training and track record in areas such as viral gene therapy, synthetic biology, molecular genetics, immunotherapy, and high throughput cell based screening.

Any appointment higher than UE07, spinal point 35 may result in reduction of contract length.
