Summary
Join our dynamic team providing services including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Plain film and intervention. We have vacancies for general and specialist radiologists. Sub specialty interests are welcomed, encouraged and supported. The job entails covering acute CT, duty radiologst sessions and reporting GP and outpatient studies. Involvement in interventional radiology is encouraged and expected for basic procedures such as drainage or biopsy. Involvement in MDT preparation and delivery dependent on sub specialist expertise and job planning. Teleconferencing facilities to the Cancer Centre for the purpose of MDTs and department meetings are installed in the Postgraduate Medical Education Centre at Bishop Auckland, within the Radiology Department at Darlington Memorial Hospital and within the pathology department at University Hospital North Durham.
