Job Advert

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join the team at our Northampton Community Equipment Service Centre. This could be
an ideal opportunity for your first step into a team leader role. You will support the day to day efficient running of the depot.
Your key focuses will be support to the Operations team, as well as leadership of the warehouse/workshop team.

The Role:

* Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork to ensure KPI targets are met or exceeded
* Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decontamination areas
* Ensuring stock is correctly issued, received and maintained. Support stock checks, making adjustments and accounting for any
variances
* Conduct daily warehouse walks to inspect the warehouse. This is to ensure the warehouse in its entirety is safe to work in.
* Carry out and supervise decontamination of the community equipment in line with MHRA guidelines
* Correctly quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is correctly documented, logged and filed creating a
clear audit trail
* Receiving all collected and returned stock at back door
* Ensuring invoice accuracy for all collections/returns by checking goods received note in conjunction with each driver
* Identify training needs for driver’s on processes as required
* Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the field based technicians
* Continual updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner
* Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including in some cases repairs of our equipment including PAT testing
* Training and development will be provided with the opportunity to progress or develop into your first step into a team leader
role
* You will ideally be able to cover for the management team during absence/holiday



About you:

* Previous Team Leader experience is desirable but not essential
* Experience of stock control preferable
* Logistics, Administration and Customer Services experience desirable
* Excellent communication skills to interact with internal staff, prescribers and Service Users
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be proactive
* Willingness to learn and develop within the role and company
* Must be able to work off their own initiative as well as part of a team
* Good attention to detail
* Full UK Driving Licence
