Our Construction and Building Services department is home to a diverse and experienced team of teaching and support staff who are passionate about delivering high-quality vocational education and work collaboratively to ensure students develop the skills and knowledge needed for success in their chosen trades.
Roles and Day-to-Day Work
Each department consists of lecturers and technicians who work together to deliver engaging, hands-on training tailored to industry standards. Staff members are responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining links with employers to enhance apprenticeship and work placement opportunities. The day-to-day work involves a mix of classroom teaching, practical workshop sessions, and pastoral support to ensure learners are fully prepared for careers in their trade.
Locations and Flexibility
Work will be based across our Cheltenham, Gloucester and FOD campuses, with no current hybrid working option. However, there may be some flexibility depending on the role, particularly for part-time or specialist positions.
