Summary
Accolade Families is a social care company that provides outreach support and supervision to families in their own homes.
This is provided by a team of experienced staff.
We have an excellent opportunity for someone with management experience in a similar setting or children's home to join our team.
The successful candidate will be based at Head Office in Newton Le Willows.
Duties will include:
* Support the Manager in the daily operations of the facility.
* Ensure high standards of care and support are maintained.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures.
* Lead, mentor and supervise a team of support workers.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
* Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels.
* Conduct staff appraisals and identify training needs.
* Liaise with external agencies and professionals.
* Handle safeguarding issues and ensure the safety of all children.
Requirements:
* Must hold a Level 5 qualification in Children's Workforce (or equivalent) or be enrolled in a Level 5 program.
* Strong understanding of child development and safeguarding practices.
* Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
