Summary
An opportunity has arisen at our successful and thriving nursery for a new room leader. Are you a leader of a small nursery looking for change, or already a room leader within a smaller setting wanting to expand your knowledge and experience. You will lead our large 18 months to 2.5 year room, with up to 27 children each day and a team of 10 staff.
Bovington Nursery is a large well-established nursery, with over 150 children and 30 staff. This is an exciting time for you to join us as we are expanding from four rooms to five; to accommodate all the children we have registered from September. We are open all year round, closing for two weeks at Christmas and one at the end of the summer holidays.
If you can demonstrate the following, we would welcome your application.
A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years
The ability to ensure that ALL children are made to feel welcome and for them to reach their full potential.
Have a sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
The ability to lead a staff team
Can work positively with parents’ staff and professionals
Be able to plan activities with children’s interests at the heart of their learning
To create a safe and secure environment for staff and children
A knowledge of the Incredible Years programme
