Occupational Therapist 1 - PO3
Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist 1 - PO3 to join our team and make a positive impact on our clients' lives. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions that help individuals with diverse needs to improve their daily living and work skills. You will work with clients of all ages, including children, adults, and the elderly, who may have physical, developmental, or emotional challenges. Your goal will be to promote independence and enhance the quality of life for each client. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, rehabilitation staff, and social workers to provide comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of your clients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this role, as you will need to effectively educate clients and their families about treatment plans and progress. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and records of client evaluations and treatments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your commitment to ongoing professional development is vital, as you will stay updated on the latest advancements in occupational therapy practices.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional skills.
Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
Educate clients and their families about therapy techniques and goals to encourage participation and compliance.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care and effective communication regarding client progress.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulations.
Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills and stay current with industry standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and treatment planning.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interactions.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate client records.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
Hours Per Week: 22.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
