Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Tramper Driver to join our team in Immingham. As a Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate HGV vehicles in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
Transport goods to various destinations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transit.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Stay overnight in the vehicle as required, ensuring the security of the load and vehicle.
To be considered for this role you will require the following:
• Minimum 1 years HGV experience (Required)
• Timber Experience (Preferred)
• Previous Ratchet and Strapping experience (Preferred)
• Valid LGV/HGV Class 1 C+E License
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 9 penalty points.

Averaging 0700 start
10 hour shifts
50 Hours a week
Breaks deducted.
£15.50 p/h Basic
£18.75 p/h Via umbrella
