Summary

A Regional Collaboration for Health (ARCH) is a Portfolio made up of the three key partners Swansea Bay University Health Board, Hywel Dda University Health Board and Swansea University which is working with a number of key stakeholders to create improved health, wealth and wellbeing for the people of South West Wales. The ARCH Programme Management Office is seeking to appoint to the role of Service Planning Manager for the Regional Stroke Programme. The Programme of work was established in order to ensure high-quality sustainable care and to optimise treatment, rehabilitation and outcomes for stroke patients. This programme is part of a Wales-wide review and reconfiguration of stroke services to realise the vision of the Welsh Governments National Clinical Framework and long-term plans for efficient and effective healthcare delivery. The Programme Manager will be working at both a local and regional level within Stroke services within Swansea Bay and Hywel Dda University Health Boards, and at a strategic level in liaison with the national stroke network and with peers across Wales, responsible for managing a major programme that impacts across and beyond the organisation. This key role will workto the ARCH Head of Strategy and Service Planning, Medical Directors in both Health Boards and University colleagues to support thestrategic planning elements of the ARCH Regional Stroke Programme. This post willinvolve work withinSwansea Bayand Hywel Dda University Health Boards. For this reason, applications are encouraged from individuals working within either Hywel Dda University Health Board or Swansea Bay University Health Board.
