Summary
To plan and implement individual and/or group interventions collaboratively, to enable service users to achieve valued goals and satisfactory occupational performance outcomes. To provide treatment in an environment where security and safety procedures must be strictly adhered to and ensure that legal restrictions required of the Mental Health Act are taken into consideration when planning interventions. To work within agreed clinical pathways and protocols. To monitor and collaboratively evaluate treatment in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of the intervention. To plan and implement individual and/or group interventions collaboratively, to enable service users to achieve valued goals and satisfactory occupational performance outcome. To apply an understanding of the effects of disability on occupational performance. To promote equality of outcome for service users that reflects their individual needs. To promote social inclusion and physical and mental well-being using evidence based practice. This is underpinned by the principles of hope
