To work under the direction of the manager and deputise for her as and when required.
To support the aims and objectives of the nursery and assist the manager in the organisation of a high quality establishment for children from birth to 5 years.

Some person requirements:

You should bring a warm and welcoming smile that makes every child feel cherished and valued.

A touch of quirkiness is a plus; if a child asks you to be a princess, you'll dive in and be the most magical fairy-tale princess imaginable.

Being able to sing in tune isn't necessary, but confidence to sing out of tune in front of others is a must.

Tolerance for a workspace that sometimes looks like a tornado just passed through is a definite asset.

You'll need to master the art of pretend—whether it’s convincingly enjoying playdough cuisine or diving into imaginative play—which will grow with time and practice.

The ability to remember the names of numerous children, their family members, pets, and treasured toys is a fundamental skill.

Above all, you must be ready to have an abundance of fun, laugh often, and bring joy to your workday.

Finally, be prepared to feel deeply appreciated and loved by many children and their families. There truly is no other role quite like this.
