Summary

Job Profile As a Band 5 Staff Nurse within our Dialysis Unit, you will deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients with chronic kidney disease. Working within a nurse-led, multi-site unit, you will be responsible for providing holistic nursing care across a 6-bed facility (3 treatment bays and 3 isolation rooms), utilising Fresenius 5008 dialysis machines. This role requires strong clinical skills, a patient-focused approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. Salary: £36,103-£45,238 (Depending on experience) Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW (Baker Street and Regents Park stations) Hours: Monday - Saturday shifts (Early, Late, Longday) On-Call: 1 week per month Benefits package: Contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%). Assessing, planning, and delivering treatment in line with Renal Association standards. Working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Using clinical judgement to manage patient care and respond to changes effectively. Supporting service development and contributing to continuous quality improvement. Participating in a flexible rota (including early, late, long-day shifts and monthly on-call). We're looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN/RN) who is: Experienced in dialysis care, confident with the demands of renal nursing. Patient-focused, with a compassionate, empathetic approach to supporting individuals with chronic kidney disease. A clear communicator who builds trust and works effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Adaptable and proactive, able to work independently and flexibly across different shift patterns.
