Danny Sullivan's are looking for a full-time Rigger ready to start ASAP in Immingham.
Job description:
- 8-10 hours a day, 5 days a week
- Possible weekend work / overtime
- Ongoing work
- Assemble and dismantle rigging equipment such as pulleys, winches, slings, shackles, and chains
- Select appropriate rigging gear based on load weights, lifting points, and movement requirements
- Work closely with crane operators and lifting supervisors to ensure safe lifting operations
- Signal and direct crane operators during lifts using standard hand signals or radio communication
Requirements:
- CPCS / NPORS (with CSCS logo) Rigger Qualification
- Good understanding of safe lifting techniques and relevant regulations (e.g., LOLER, PUWER)
- Experience working with cranes, hoists, and heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and lifting plans
- Right to work in the UK
