Group Audit and Conduct Investigations has an exciting opportunity for you to join as an Audit Analyst, specialising in End-to-End Third Party Risk Management, assessing the design and operational effectiveness of LBG's supplier selection, contracting, supplier risk and performance management and exit processes. About this opportunity

As an Audit Analyst you will utilise your third-party risk management experience to support in the delivery of high-quality audits. Own the design and operational evaluation and testing of key controls. Apply proficient knowledge and application of audit methodology and assigned risk areas.

You'll act as a proactive team member, with a growth mindset, positively contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the audit. Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of GA&CI through a strategic and integrated audit focus, collaboration and agile delivery methods.

Day to day, you will:

  • Support control testing to identify areas of concern with clear articulation of the potential findings.

  • Contribute to audit plan, delivering specified outcomes and providing support by working as directed within the Audit Team.

  • Support senior colleagues to build and maintain meaningful stakeholder relationships.

  • Conduct research that considers multiple perspectives including outside in thinking to enable analysis of key themes and external trends.

  • Be bold and suggest improvements in current compliance processes.

  • Deliver high quality audit work in-line with the Group values and behaviours.

We're looking for someone who demonstrates the following:

  • Technical Expertise: Practical experience and knowledge of third party management including supplier onboarding, contracting or the ongoing management of suppliers.

  • Risk Management and Control: The ability to deliver third party risk management activity that is timely, impactful, insightful and valued by stakeholders.

  • Data Analytics: The ability to analyse, understand and communicate data as information, and use data to drive effective outcomes.

  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to understand both Group and Business Unit Strategy and connect this to audit delivery to develop meaningful insights.

  • Project Delivery: Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deliver work to the time and quality expected including effective prioritisation of workload.

And any experience of these would be really useful:

  • Supplier Auditing: A risk and audit mentality with experience working in the three lines of defence model related to third party risk management.

  • Regulation: Awareness and understanding of the key regulatory requirements related to third party risk management in the UK financial sector.

  • Professional Qualification: A professional qualification related to audit and/or third party management.
