Summary
• Measure and prepare work surfaces to ensure precise, level installation of stone flooring materials.
• Cut, shape, and lay a variety of stone tiles, slabs, and flooring materials based on project designs and site specifications.
• Mix and apply adhesives, mortar, and grout to securely fix stone flooring, ensuring long-lasting, durable results.
• Inspect and select materials to confirm they meet size, quality, and design requirements before installation.
• Follow detailed layouts, patterns, and design instructions to achieve high-quality, visually appealing floor finishes.
• Collaborate closely with site managers, designers, and other construction trades to coordinate flooring work with overall project plans.
• Clean and finish installed flooring surfaces, removing excess grout and debris to deliver a polished, professional appearance.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe, operational condition and promptly report any repair or safety concerns.
• Ensure full compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, including the correct handling of heavy materials and tools.
• Respond professionally and efficiently to on-site operational issues or client concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth workflow.
