Summary
Finding new clients: Researching businesses, individuals, and industry trends to identify new clients and markets.
Building relationships: Developing and maintaining relationships with current clients to generate repeat business.
Increasing sales: Setting sales goals and ensuring the sales team meets them.
Managing risks: Working with senior team members to identify and manage company risks.
Creating content: Helping to create marketing collateral, newsletters, events invitations, and brochures.
Managing events: Promoting the firm by managing the events process from planning to execution.
Negotiating: Negotiating business terms with new and existing clients.
Communicating: Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems.
Preparing presentations: Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients.
Some qualifications for a business development executive include:
A degree from an accredited college in business or a related field
Solid computation and communication comprehension
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Work experience in a sales or customer-facing role
