Information Systems Services (ISS) is a dynamic, friendly and supportive section, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join the Resources Team within our Customer, Strategy and Governance section.

Working with the ISS Resources Manager, the core responsibilities of the post-holder will be:

  • Managing budgets and tracking spend for all expenditure
  • Responding to ad hoc internal ISS budget queries
  • Working with ISS managers and HR colleagues on day-to-day staffing related queries
  • Managing ISS recruitment and onboarding to the department
  • Working with HR & Financial data to produce regular and ad hoc reports
  • Responding to Health & Safety queries

You will be a confident communicator, with proven experience of building relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and external suppliers. An understanding of financial management and/or Human Resources in an HE environment would be beneficial.

This is a full time, indefinite post with the flexibility to work some of your time remotely, the role is primarily based at Lancaster University Bailrigg campus. We would expect a minimum of 2 days per week on campus.
