We are looking for an experienced Female Care / Support worker to join our team of Personal Assistants supporting one of our clients in the Thornton Cleveleys area The role will be varied, but you will be supporting our client living with a brain injury to lead an individual and independent lifestyle within their own home and the community. Our client has a wide range of interests particularly board and card games, outings with social groups, bowling and low level woodwork.
You will be working as part of a small team on a 2:1 / 1:1 basis.
The role is for casual hours working a combination of day shifts (8am-2pm) and evening shifts 7pm-9.30pm. There may also be some ad hoc hours available in addition to this.
In return Salvere Support offers:

Who we are looking for:
You must be self motivated, well organised, reliable and an excellent team player. As well as being a naturally caring and compassionate person, we’re seeking Care / Support workers with experience of:
- Gastronomy care and administration of prescribed feed, fluid and medication
- Neurological behaviour support / occasions of inappropriate behaviour
- Having a clean, full driving licence is desirable, as there is the use of a mobility vehicle.
- Personal care, including incontinence pad changes and measures to maintain skin integrity
- Moving and Handling (including hoisting)
- Domestic duties ( Food prep, laundry, cleaning)
- Monitoring of general health and well being, & daily record keeping
- Communication support.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness
