Experience in event planning, logistics, or community engagement.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in project coordination and maintaining schedules.
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to assist in planning and delivering exciting events and supporting the development of greenspaces in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with research, development, and creative planning of events, including the Green Fair, Summer Fun, and Light Trail events.
Source and secure external organisations, partners, and third-party agencies to participate in events.
Identify resource requirements, obtain proposals, quotes, and invoices.
Coordinate with internal and external departments to ensure smooth planning and execution.
Maintain the ‘Live Project Tracker’ (including work plans, budgets, and supplier contacts).
Ensure events run on schedule and within budget.
Assist with event documentation, including management plans, risk assessments, and site maps.
Support event production, logistics, marketing, and promotion.
Work alongside businesses and partners to develop offers within greenspaces.
Assist with site management, setups, and pack-downs.
