Summary

Join our team as a Tug Driver and play a vital role in the UK's supply chain, facilitating the efficient movement of cargo from discharge to distribution. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating a Tugmaster to pull trailers
  • Transferring cargo using a tug tipper
  • Completing daily vehicle checks
  • Ensuring the safe flow of traffic
  • Collaborating effectively as part of a team

Location: Sheerness
Shift: Varies depending on vessel schedule (6 am - 6 pm / 6 pm - 6 am)
Pay Rate: From £12.75 per hour

Qualifications:

  • COSHH
  • TUG Licence
  • Manual Handling

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Safety-Focused: Always health and safety conscious.
  • Licensed: Holds a full UK driving licence.
  • Experienced: Previous experience as a Tugmaster or tug tipper is preferred.
  • Skilled: Experience operating large vehicles.
  • Team-Oriented: Committed to completing work safely and on time, with a flexible approach to tasks.
  • Test-Ready: Capable of passing port-specific tests, including drug and alcohol testing.
  • Weather-Resilient: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
