Summary
Clinical responsibilities include Phlebotomy. Blood Pressure monitoring/Hypertension reviews. ECG recording. New patient and NHS health checks. Vaccinations including flu and administering B12 injections. Infection control and equipment management. Vaccine cold chain storage, monitoring, recording and stock control. Contribute to QOF, Quality Contract and other Enhanced Services. Urinalysis and the preparation of specimen. Gathering lifestyle data from patients to ensure accurate record keeping along with educating or signposting to external sources to promote health and wellbeing. Follow clinical and practice protocols and work within competence. Assist in ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed. Administrative responsibilities include Attend and participate in practice meetings as required. Assist with the collection and collation of data relating to population health and well-being. Assist with seasonal programmes as requested. Additional ad-hoc tasks as required.
