Crynodeb
We are looking for new enthusiastic Consultants in Emergency Medicine who have enthusiasm and drive to deliver excellent care to our patients at both Birmingham Heartlands and Good Hope Hospitals Emergency Departments. Effective management of all elements of an ED workload is a priority for the Trust and we are looking to recruit consultants who will help us to deliver high quality care by working within and alongside the existing Emergency Medicine teams. The Emergency Medicine team is supported by a broad range of other clinicians including emergency practitioners, advanced care practitioners, doctors in training, locally employed doctors and medical students. Our departments include a Resuscitation area, High dependency areas, Majors areas, Minor injury areas, Paediatric areas, clinical decision areas (Good Hope ED) and a GP led urgent treatment centre. These are 10PA jobs, but we may be able to offer personalisation or part time opportunities to the successful candidates. Appointees must have necessary qualifications and should either be on the Specialist Register of the GMC or be within 6 months of the CCT at the time of interview.
