Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated person to join the Humber Diabetic Eye Screening Programme as an Administrator.

The successful applicant will work with the Diabetic Eye Screening team and be responsible for providing administrative support to the programme dealing with the booking of clinics and appointments, providing a professional service to patients over the telephone, liaise with GP’s and other external clinical colleagues and other administrative roles as required.

Attention to detail is vital and the ability to follow strict information governance procedures.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role

The successful applicant needs to be able to confidently and competently manage a large workload in a busy office. An excellent telephone manner is required as the post holder is the point of contact for patients. The role also requires occasional face-to-face contact with patients.

The post holder would be required to work towards and complete an Administration Qualification in Diabetic Eye Screening within 6 months of appointment to post.

The Trust is undergoing service transformations and review, therefore there may be a requirement in future for weekend work/or early evening work.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills, together with an ability to prioritise workload and work flexibly to achieve deadlines.
